Brief Description

Glen Burnie Improvement Association is proud to present the 3rd annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk. GBIA, founded in 1908 to improve the living conditions for the residents , is sponsoring the wellness event. GBIA sponsors several community events including: The Big Glen Burnie Carnival, Memorial Day Parade, Fireworks, 3rd Ave Park Ice Cream Social, Summer Concerts, and more. Be part of the wellness event and join us for the 3rd Annual GBIA 5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk

Additional Information

Chip-timed fast and flat course and the B&A trail. Long sleeve T-shirts to all entrants. Start Time: 9:00. Awards: 1st Overall M/F, 1st Age Group, Ten year age groups with 14 and below, 15-19, and 65 and over. There will also be a Family One Mile Fun Walk. Special race awards for Boy Scouts.
