Proceeds will establish a research grant to study Triple Negative (TNBC) and other treatment-resistant breast cancers on site at the University of Florida. TNBC is an extremely aggressive subtype of breast cancer that is more common in younger women and does not respond to traditional breast cancer treatments, accounting for ~25% of all breast cancer fatalities. The CSCRB is a non-profit organization created by scientists aiming to pioneer research initiatives in collaboration with clinicians for critically underfunded areas of medical research in hopes of creating better treatment options for patients. All proceeds raised through CSCRB will be awarded as grants to conduct new medical research or otherwise advance science and education in biomedicine. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation directly to the CSCRB, please visit www.cscrb.org
