Brief Description

The event is being put on by the Band Boosters of Fuquay-Varina High to raise funds for the school band. The race will start and finish at the High School which is located at 201 Bengal Boulevard in Fuquay-Varina.

History

In its debut last year, 41 runners completed the certified 5K course led by Parker Lee in 17:16. Lara Pantlin was the first female finish with a 21:00 effort.

Entry Fees/T-Shirts

The entry fees are $20 for the 5K and $8 for the walk if registered NLT November 10th. After that date, the fees are $25 and $10, respectively, up to and including race day. T-shirts are guaranteed to all those registered by November 10. After that date it will be “as available.”

Awards

The first three males and the first three females to finish will receive awards.

Packet Pickup/Late Registration

Pre-registered entrants can pick up their race packets and late entrants can register at the High School gym on race day beginning at 12:30 pm.
