Course: The 13.1-mile course runs through scenic Howard County, beginning and ending at the Maple Lawn Community. Portions of the course are subject to change. View the course map.

Post-race Festival: After completing the race, celebrate at the post-race festival with family and friends. With many great vendors and participants in our Maryland Half Marathon Runners Village, an energetic and action packed Kids Corner in the works, and great bands on board for the Kids and post-race concerts, the post-race festival is sure to be a wonderful finish to the Maryland Half Marathon.

Awards: The real winners for this event are all of the people fighting cancer. However, there will be awards for the runners as well. Top three finishers in each category for both male and female: 16-20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over. The County Cup will be presented to the County Executive of the first Maryland resident to cross the finish line. There will also be prizes for the adult and child that raises the most money.

Amenities: This race is all about raising money for the University of Maryland's Greenebaum Cancer Center. We are incredibly grateful to all who participate. As a way of saying thank you, all participants will receive a tech shirt and medal. Fundraisers receive the same great premiums, but will not receive a finisher medal.

List of premiums for each level coming soon.
