Brief Description

Come help us celebrate the Traditional idea of Valentines Day with a gift of Fitness to yourself and a donation of food items to those in need. Mary Queen Food Pantry will be the beneficiary of your generosity. We will start at Friendswood High School, run through the surrounding neighborhoods and then finish back at FHS. Bring your family and friends to help cheer you on and encourage them to bring a sack of food items as well.

Time

5 Mile, 5K and 5K Partner’s Challenge - 8:00AM Kid’s 1K(10 and under) - 9:30AM Awards - 10:00AM

Individuals

Compete in the 5 mile or 5K as an individual. Both races will be chip timed.

Team Event

The 5K Team Challenge individual chip times will be combined to determine the overall Male, Female and Mixed Relay teams. You may only register in one division.

Kids 1K

Kids 1K(Age 10 and under) fun run will not be timed. All finishers will receive special Valentine prizes! There will be NO tshirts for the kids for this run.

Awards

5 Mile and 5k - 1 st Place Overall Male and Female and Age Group awards 3 deep. Team Challenge – 1 st Place Male Team, 1 st Place Female Team, 1 st Place Mixed Team **Special prizes awarded for Team Challenge Winners**

Entry Fee

5 Mile- $35 5K-$25 Partner Challenge - $45 Add to each race $5 after January 21st, 2012 Kid’s 1K(Age 10 and under) - $10 there is no additional fee.

**All participants are encouraged to bring food items for the Mary Queen Food Pantry. We will have drawings for prizes, donated by area business. Earn a ticket for a chance to win a prize for every bag of groceries you donate. You will earn special prizes for monetary donations. (Cash, Check or Kroger gift cards)**
