Brief Description

Misty Williams is a 32 year-old, married mother of three battling stage 4 rectal cancer. She has already undergone 6 weeks of chemo and radiation, and has had 3 surgeries to remove the cancerous tumor. During the last surgery, Misty's doctors discovered that the cancer has now spread to her lymph nodes and lungs... therefore, upgrading her stage from 3 to 4. She will soon undergo 6 months of heavy chemo to battle the cancer cells in her lungs and lymph nodes.

Both races will start at 8:30a.m.

Race Location Info

Hammock Bay is approximately one mile east of Freeport FL, south of Highway 20. Enter and proceed past the Welcome Center on the right, for approximately 1.5 miles and find parking near the Lake Club/Fitness Center on the right or at the Gazebo on the left.

Race Fees:

10K - $40 5K - $35 All registration fees will be a gift to Misty Williams.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!! Race day registration is available beginning at 7:30am, please come early to register. T-shirts are subject to availability and may have to be mailed at after the race.

PACKET PICK-UP

Race packet pick-up will begin at 7:30 at the Gazebo in Hammock Bay!

Misty is an incredibly courageous woman. With the Lord's help, she is fighting this battle for her three beautiful daughters, Lauren -8, Londyn - 4, and Logan - 10 months, as well as for her devoted husband of 10 years, Taylor. Misty has been an inspiration to all of us. Her courage and positive attitude while fighting this vicious disease is an example of enduring life's adversities with grace, dignity, strength, determination, and faith. A lesson for us all. Please come out for a morning of fun, camaraderie, and to help this courageous woman fight for her life. All registration fees will be a gift to the Misty Williams Fund.
