Brief Description

22nd Annual St. Paddy's 10 Mile Race, held in conjunction with the Leprechaun 5K (which starts at 9:40 a.m.- see separate listing on the same day). Run the scenic course through the backroads of Freehold Township. Post race brunch and sweatshirts to all participants. The race benefits NJ Special Olympics, Freehold Twp Recreation and the FARC Matthew Stuper Scholarship Fund. This event has donated over $200,000 since 1990.

Additional Information

Some 92 awards will be given out in the 10 Mile Race - 3 deep males and females in the following categories: overall, 15-19,20-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-59,70-74,75-59,80 & Up, Racewalkers & FARC members. No duplicate awards. We must prohibit Strollers, Head Phones, Dogs and Runners in Costumes in the Race. Head Phones are prohibited as runner will not hear directions from the race staff. Strollers & Dogs at a race may be a hazard to runners, children and spectators. We also cannot have runners in costumes as this is a hazard to other runners and a safety issue. The RRCA and our insurance company will not cover these situations. We appreciate your compliance.
