Brief Description

The Franklin First Fiddlin' Fish 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk is sponsored by the Works in Progress class at First United Methodist Church. All earnings will go to financially support families who have children affected by a serious disease and who require extensive or long term hospital care. The 1 Mile Walk will begin at 8 AM with a 25 minute time limit. The 5K will begin at 8:30 AM.

Additional Information

The Fiddln' Fish is a race experience like no other! Our aim is to create a family friendly atmosphere, while at the same time conduct a competitive 5K run. A blue grass band will be featured at the start/finish line and delicious home baked goods will be given away for the top three finishers in age categories!!! The accurately measured course will include scenic Lewisburg Pike and Carnton Lane. Historic sites in Franklin will line the route, such as Carnton Plantation, O'Moore College of Design and historic First United Methodist Church. Packet pick-up will be available at the church on Friday, May 14th from 4 to 6 pm. Please join us on May 15th or food, fun and a run!
