Brief Description

The 14th Annual Victory Over Violence Walk/Run benefits the anti-violence programs of The Women's Center. This event is open to women, men and kids of all ages. Both the 1K fun run/walk and the 5K certified course go through Fort Worth's beautiful Trinity Park .

The 5K is timed using the Chrono Track D tag timing system. If you want to be timed, you must select 5K Timed in the event category during registration.

No pets, bikes or rollerblades.

Team Registration

(Minimum 5 members) Your TEAM CAPTAIN must register first and create your team by clicking on the Create Your Team button on the top right or the button below. Once the captain registers, all other team members just need to select your team during the registration process. If your team captain has already submitted a paper entry, please contact The Women's Center at vov@womenscentertc.org for assistance in adding your team's name online.

Individuals and Teams Packet Pick-up

Dates: Wednesday - Friday, April 7 - 9
Time: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Teams Only Packet Pick-up

Dates: Saturday, April 3; Noon to 4:00 pm or Monday-Tuesday, April 5 - 6; 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Prizes and Awards

The top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers will receive Luke's Locker gift cards as will the overall masters male and female finishers.

The top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in 16 age categories will receive trophies.

Prizes will be awarded to individuals raising the most money including American Airlines tickets for the top money raiser.

Teams can compete for Largest Teams, Fastest Teams, and Teams Raising the Most Money.

Additional Information

After the race, enjoy a wide assortment of drinks and food plus let the kids play in the Kid's Zone where there are games, face painting and a bounce house to entertain them before the awards are announced.
