Brief Description

The Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge is a natural gem on the banks of the Trinity River and Lake Worth with 3800 acres of prairie, woodland, river bottom, and marsh. Buffalo Boogie proceeds this year will support our expanding herd. The Boogie route passes right by our bison herd, so everyone gets to see these lovely animals. The route is flat, shaded, and entirely in the country!

Special Family, Group, and School Rates The school with the most registered participants will receive a plaque. 5K FAST Chip Timed Run 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Medals in full-range age and gender categories Registration on-site from 7 am to 8:15 am PARKING IS OFF-SITE with SHUTTLE BUS; please arrive EARLY!!! Race/Walk begins at 8:30 am (Timed Run at 8:30; Fun Walk/Run at 8:45 am) Live music by Rough Cut; free breakfast and drinks; face painting; balloon art; $$$$ of door prizes; Exhibitors; Vendors selling wares; Nature Center Gift Shop will be OPEN!!!
