7th Annual Run for the Coach 5K

Brief Description

The event is held each year in memory of coach and teacher Wayne Cross, who passed away from cancer in 2007. It’s also in recognition of high school coaches and teachers everywhere, who are honored at the race’s end. If a high school team of eight or more registers, the coach runs free.

Additional Information

Trophies awarded to the first overall male and female runners, first Masters male and female finishers, top coach runner (male & female) and top teacher runner (male & female) Unique handmade medals will also be awarded three deep in typical age groups. The course will run through part of downtown Fort Pierce and over and back across the South Beach Bridge.
