Brief Description
The Folsom Firecracker is a 5K and 10K family oriented run. It is a fun, but challenging run that takes you through the streets of Old Town Folsom, across 2 bridges with gorgeous views, as well as some bike trails. Most of course is paved streets and bike trails, but there is a 100 yard portion of compacted granite dirt. Warning there is a portion with 8 steps, or little dirt hill next to steps that does make strollers getting up a little difficult.
