Brief Description

Race starts/finishes in front of the "Charleston on the Beach" Holiday Inn hotel. It is a two loop course with runners completing the same 5 mile loop twice and walkers completing the loop once. Again this year! TEAMS: 2-runners, with each team member completing one 5 mi. loop of the 10 mi course.(Three categories: Mixed, All Male, All Female). Course is Flat and Fast!

Registration/Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up/registration will be held Fri. Nov. 13th, noon-5 pm at the Extra Mile 336 King St. Downtown Charleston and Race Day, 6:45-7:45 am at the start.

T-shirts

All participants will recieve a customed-designed long sleeve t-shirt. Shirts not guaranteed with late entry or race day.

Awards/Post Race

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall M/F, top 3 age grp. M/F, and first masters M/F.Also first in each team category (Mixed, Male, Female). Standard five yr. age grps. will apply, no duplication of awards. Awards will be presented, along with post-race refreshments following the event.

Proceeds/Benefit

A portion of the proceeds to benefit the James Island High School Cross Country and Track teams.

Directions

Folly Beach, SC is approx. 15 miles west of Charleston. Hwy 171 (Folly Rd.) ends at Folly Beach and can be accessed from either SC-30 (James Is. Bridge) or Hwy 17 S. When entering Folly Beach, stay straight until you see the "Charleston on the Beach" Holiday Inn.

No Refunds/ No Exceptions

Sorry-there will be no refunds, tranfer of entry from one year to the next, or transfer of entry from one participant to the next. Due to scheduling and permits, race will be held rain or shine.
