Brief Description

This race is held in memory of Leslie McCravy, a vibrant, beautiful woman whose life unexpectedly ended on July 15th 2007. Leslie had an incomparable zest and love for life. She adored animals, showing compassion for all creatures great and small. In Leslie’s honor, the proceeds from this race will benefit Pet Helpers, a nonprofit organization that provides a safe, loving environment for stray and unwanted animals until they are adopted.

Where: Start and finish at the Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier, Folly Beach, SC When: Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. Early Packet Pick-up: Friday, September 10, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Pet Helpers 1447 Folly Road, James Island. Late Registration/Packet Pick up: Race Day at Starting Line, 6:45 - 7:45 a.m. Awards: Top 3 overall male/female and top 3 male/female age groups Dogs are prohibited on the race course. Fees: Early - $25 through September 1st. Kids (12 and under) $10. Includes t-shirt. Late - $30 after September 1st. Kids (12 and under) $15. Includes t-shirt while supplies last.
