Brief Description
The Third Annual Athletic Republic Half Marathon & 5K/1-mile run/walk, takes runners on a tour of this town of about 14,000 residents in the west-central section of the state. Throughout the 13.1 miles of flat planes and rolling hills, this loop style half-marathon route takes runners past historic local architectural gems as well as several of the town's more than 500 acres of parks and greenspace areas.

Summers are generally mild to moderately warm in this central Minnesota town, and bring typically the wettest weather conditions of the year. Area temperatures average between 76°F and 55°F in June, while rainfall amounts average about 3.75 inches for the month.
Trophies will be awarded to the top overall male and female while top three finishers in each age division will receive medals.
