Brief Description

Enjoy a scenic run on the beautiful W&OD Railroad Park trail in Falls Church City. The up-and-back 5K course is being certified by the USA Track and Field. From a start on Maple Avenue at the campus of Columbia Baptist Church, the course heads to the Little Falls entrance of the WO&D Railroad Park trail and heads toward the turn-around at the bridge over Route 7 (mile marker 7). The finish is back at Columbia Baptist Church on Maple Street. This is a stroller friendly course.

About Spend Yourself

Inspired by Isaiah 58:10, which challenges us to “spend yourself in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,” the vision of Spend Yourself® is to commit to a long-term, concerted effort to address both spiritual and physical hunger around the world. Starting as a food pantry in Falls Church serving the local community, Spend Yourself® has expanded to fight hunger in Southwest Virginia, Haiti and India.

Early Bird Registration by October 31, 2012, $30 On Time Registration between November 1-15, 2012, $35 On site Registration on Day of Event, $40
