Brief Description

The 2011 Run For Good is a flat and fast USATF certified 5K (CA09006RS) closed loop road course through the streets of Downtown Fairfield. The course is runner and walker friendly. All participants will be ChampionChip timed for accuracy and quick results. Free post-race expo and refreshments.

Registration

Register online by March 14 and save. On-line registration deadline is April 7th. Mail-in registration may be send to Run For Good 5K PO Box 3342 Fairfield CA 94533. Late race day registration also available between 6:00am-7:30am.

Registration Fees

5K run/walk: on-line or postmarked by 3/14 $25, After 3/14 $35 Entry fees are non refundable. Entry’s may not be transferred and race numbers and timing chips may only be worn by the person entered in the race

Finish Line Timing

The 5K run and walk will be timed using ChampionChip timing.

Packet Pick-Up

To avoid delays,you are encouraged to pick up your bib and t-shirt early at the event packet pick-up on Friday April 8th between 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Run For Good Expo located at 675 Texas Street, Downtown Fairfield. If you are unable to attend the early packet pick-up you may do so at the Expo on race morning between 6:00am-7:30am. Note: Timing Chips will be distributed at the registration tent on race day starting at 6:00am.

Why Run For Good?

The 2011 Run For Good 5K directly supports the Matt Garcia Youth Center & Fairfield's Police Activities League programs. The event emphasizes supporting the community, running hard to promote health and fitness, and our commitment to the environment from start-to-finish. When supporting our youth, remember there are no finish lines.

Additional Information

Prize purse of $4000. Cash awards will be presented to the top 3 male/female runners and top male/female masters (40+) runners, and prizes for the top 3 finishers per age division. Age divisions <10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64-69, 70+. All entries include a custom short sleeve event t-shirt (limited availability on race day), free post race expo and eligibility for overall and age-group awards.
