Race Staging

5k runners & Walkers should gather in the South (closest to the entrance of the park) parking lot. This is to the LEFT of the registration tents on entry to the parking lot. 10k Runners should gather in the NORTH lot (to the right / away from park entrance) as we are using the same starting line for each race.

5k Start

5k Starts at 9:10 (10 minutes after start of 10k). You must be completely registerd / picked up by 9:00 as the lot will be inaccessible after the start of the 10k

Champion Chip Timing

Champion Chip Timing by the Runners High. Souvenir chips picked up at packet pickup or on race morning. No chip - no time. Chips MAY be turned in at the post-race party for a merchandise discount

T-Shirt Availability

Registrations taken after November 10th (i.e., 11th and later) may not receive a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Shirts MAY be available for sale on race day. Register early to guarantee a shirt

Late Registration

Registration will be cut off on Thursday night to allow time for us to process packets. Register at Packet Pickup at the bloodbank if you miss this.

Packet Pick-up:

Packet pick-up and late registration can be accomplished on the Monday prior to Thanksgiving and Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Community Blood Bank, 2646 Peach Street. Please be advised that you cannot pick up your packet any time other than the listed times

Awards

Awards in all three events will be given to the top three overall and top master male and female. Then 5 year age groups from 10 & under through 80 & over. There are Clydesdale divisions in the 10K Run. You must pre-register to qualify as Clydesdale!!!

Post Race Party:

Post Race Party:This year the Post Race Party will be at Rainbow Gardens from 9:30 until noon. Awards ceremony will commence at approximately 10:30 am. Awards and shirts not picked up will not be mailed. Please plan accordingly.

ERC Winter Triple Crown:

Once again, the ERC Turkey Trot kicks off the Winter Triple Crown. Run (or walk) any of the Turkey Trot events, followed by the New Year’s Day 5-miler and the St. Patrick’s Day 10k and the ERC will give you a special commemorative. If you do the 10k, the 5M and the 10K, you’ll be part of the winter series championship. Best times for male & Female, open & masters will receive an award.

Additional Shirts and sweatpants

Extra shirts and sweatpants may will be available at the post-race party. There are limited numbers, so please plan accordingly
