Brief Description

Come out and support Duke Children's Hospital at the second annual Equinoxalizer 5k on a scenic, USATF certified (code: NC-10114-PH) course in Durham. State of the art, disposable bib tag timing will be utilized and runners will see their name in lights when they cross the finish line. Mayor Bell will be there to fire the starting gun, and we'll have plenty of food, music, and prizes during the post-race celebration.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup and Late Registration

Packet Pickup and Late Registration will be available Friday, March 18th from 3 PM to 7 PM at 9th Street Active Feet. T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered runners, but are not guaranteed for late registration. You can also pick up your packets or register (or both) on race day from 7 AM to 8 AM.

Awards

Over $1500 worth of gift certificates will be given out as awards in this years race. Awards will be given three deep for overall male and female and in each of the following age groups (male and female): 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

Course Record Bonus

For this year's event, 9th Street Active Feet is offering an extra $100 gift certificate (along with the 1st place prize) to any male or female who breaks the course record. The current course records are 15:22 (men) and 21:27 (women).

Equinoxalizer Training Group

Need a group to train with for the big day? Starting Monday, January 17th, come out to 9th Street Active Feet and join the group! We'll meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and Saturdays at 10 am. Runners of all abilities are welcome.
