Brief Description

5 mile Adventure Run through Honeymoon Island State Park.

Registration, Start, & Finish is in the Playground area.

Approximately 2.0 miles of woodland trails followed by .5 mile of transitional trail to 2.0 miles of beach ending with .5 mile of transitional trail to playground finish area.

Beach portion subject to change depending on surf.

Weather is likely to be windy and temperatures in low to mid 40's.

Additional Information

Trails conditions will vary: packed vehicle trails, packed hiking/walking trails, possible wet trail conditions along bay, sugar sand, some trails rutted.

Transition to beach portion may have rocks.

Beach route and conditions subject to recent weather conditions.

Out bound on beach is away from surf and my be soft. In bound on beach is along surf and should be packed with some rocks.

Transition to final 1/2 mile is brief surf and up a rocky slope and through brief rocks to hard vehicle trail.

Pre and post race pancake breakfast and during awards ceremony.
