Great family race featuring a certified course, lobster prizes, pre- & post-race activities, refreshments, and children's fun run. The 5K is the 1st race in the 2010 Seacoast Race Series!

We are using ChampionChip timing again this year, with the addition of a start mat! Timing will begin at the starting mat (instead of start gun) and end at the finish mat. Lost chips cost $30, so please be sure to return them upon completion of the race. If you own your own yellow chip and want to use it for our race, you must include your code on your application.
Lobsters, donated by Weathervane Seafood, will be awarded to top overall finishers and division winners. 1st overall M/F: 10 lobsters, 2nd overall M/F: 6 lobsters, 3rd overall M/F: 4 lobsters; Division Winners: 2 lobsters. Prizes also awarded to 2nd & 3rd in each division as well as the overall top male and female race-walker.
M/F for each category: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+, and wheelchair. Non-competitive walkers are also welcome. Baby joggers are allowed, but no pets please.
From the Spaulding Turnpike, take Exit 8E (RT 9) and follow Silver St. to the lights at RT 108/Central Ave. Take a left onto Central Ave. and follow to next set of lights at Washington St. For more detailed directions, call CMNH at (603) 742-2002 or visit www.childrens-museum.org. Registration for both the 5K race and the Fun Runs will be at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire.
Free parking is available at the Orchard St. lot near the Post Office (accessed via Central Ave. or Chestnut St.); the Amtrak lot on Chestnut St. & 3rd St.; The 3rd St. lot across from the Asia Restaurant; The Portland St. lot across from The Barn Tavern; and the Library lot on Locust St. across from the police station.
Food & drink donated by Weathervane Seafood, River Bend Variety & Fiddlehead Farms will be available at Henry Law Park following the 5K Road Race.

The Children's Museum Footbridge 5K has a 1200 runner/walker limit this year so SIGN UP EARLY!
The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is again part of the Seacoast Road Race Series! This means that our race can help you qualify for a highly coveted Race Series jacket, as well as other prizes.
