This race has earned a reputation as one of the country’s premier races by offering challenging courses, scenic venues and unmatched hospitality. In 2012 the race returns to Des Moines, where competitors will swim in Gray’s Lake, bike through historic Des Moines, run along the Des Moines River and finish at Iowa’s most recognized landmark–the Iowa State Capitol. Hy-Vee has partnered with World Triathlon Corporation to host the U.S. Championship of WTC’s new 5150 Series.
You’ll have the opportunity to watch the best professionals in the world compete for a $1 million prize purse – including more than $50,000 in lap bonuses – in the Hy-Vee 5150 Elite Cup.
