Brief Description

The 6th Annual Long Dog Derby at the Denver Oktoberfest is back again and now it's a full day event! Grab your weiner and your other dogs and bring them down to the Ball Park Neighborhood and the 42nd Annual Denver Oktoberfest for a day of 100 yard dashes and tons of laughs!

Parking

There is no designated parking for this event. Since we're in the middle of downtown and near the ballpark, there are paid lots and free meter spaces within a block of the event.

Shots and Vaccinations

All 'owners' will have to present current shot and vaccination papers at registration. If you have questions, please call (720)255-5475.

Leashes

All Dogs must be leashed through out the entire event UNLESS they're "racing". No exceptions.

Registration

There will be Day of Registration for $30 starting at 10:00 a.m. Packet Pick Up also starts at 10:00 a.m. for pre-registered doggies. Please bring your dog paperwork and your Identification to pick up your t-shirt and dog tags.

Additional Information

There's a race for every age dog and even dogs that aren't weiners or pugs! Sign your dog up for the Wanna Be Weiner category. All 'owners' receive an awesome Long Dog Derby commerative event shirt too!
