Brief Description

Rebuilding Together’s mission is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of homeowners in need. A strong focus is placed on the disabled, aging, and our nation’s veterans. Rebuilding Together Morgan County became an affiliate of National Rebuilding in 1996 and has rehabbed 127 homes to date. The service provides free home repairs making homes safer, more accessible, and more energy efficient.

Schedule

5K begins at 8:00 a.m. 1 Mile run/walk starts at 9:15 a.m. Awards ceremony will be held immediatly following 1 mile.

Course

Course is certified by USATF. Race starts on Beltline Access Rd in front of Adventure Park. First two miles are paved through neighborhood streets. Final mile is on the park running path. Finish is behind the Decatur Animal Shelter.

Packet Pickup and Registration

Pre race packet pick-up and registration can be done on Friday, September 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wilson Morgan Park Pavilion. Race day packet pickup and registration will be from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. and will also be at Wilson Morgan Park under the Pavilion.

T-Shirts

Dry-Fit are only guaranteed to the first 200 that register the 5K! Fun Run t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 50 that register.

Awards and Perks

5K- First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded for each age division. Post race refreshments will be provided for runners.
