Brief Description

The 9th Annual Seroogy’s Valentine Run/Walk allows you to enjoy the season’s beauty of a “Winter Runnerland” through the well-maintained streets of De Pere. The run offers views of the many historical homes and businesses in De Pere, as well as travels through the beautiful St. Norbert Abbey. Participants are greeted at the finish line with a Seroogy's chocolate bar and heart shaped cheese.

Adults: $35; Kids: $17

Registration Discount

You can take $3 off your entry fee if you drop off your registration form at the following Seroogy's Chocolates locations: 144 N. Wisconsin St., De Pere or 784 Willard Drive, Green Bay. If you drop off four or more entries, take another $1 off per entrant. Forms must be dropped off in one envelope. REGISTRATIONS MUST BE DROPPED OFF BEFORE 9 P.M. ON THURSDAY, FEB. 7 TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT.

Registration and Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up and registration will be available at Seroogy's Chocolates, 144 N. Wisconsin St., De Pere:

- Friday, Feb. 8: 3 - 6 p.m.

- Race morning: 6:30 - 8 a.m.

Distances

5K - 3.1 miles; 15K - 9.3 miles

Course Information

15K - Starts on Broadway and goes through St. Norbert Abbey. This is a gradual uphill to Webster Avenue. Course turns right heading toward Ridgeway Boulevard. The course turns west on Ridgeway Boulevard. toward East River Drive, through Green Isle Park and back. The final half mile of the course is downhill heading back to Seroogy's Chocolates.

5K - Starts the same as the 15K. Course goes right at Ridgeway Boulevard. It then heads downhill headed back to Seroogy's Chocolates.

Course Cut-Off Time

The course will close 2 hours and 30 minutes after the start of the race.

Awards

Midwest Sports Events prides themselves with unique awards! Awards will be given to the first overall female and male winners in both distances. Age group awards will be given to the top three male and female in 5-year increments, 14 and under to 95+, and the top three in the Clydesdale and Athena divisions.

Midwest Sports Events Amenities

All participants will receive a long-sleeve shirt (size not guaranteed after Feb. 1, 2013), Seroogy's chocolate meltaway bar, coffee, hot chocolate, heart-shaped cheese pack and snacks. Both courses will have every mile marked and will offer water/gatorade stations.

Midwest Sports Events Refund Policy

There will be NO REFUNDS issued for any reason. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFER FROM 2013 TO 2014 EVENT (deferrals): There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year's event to future year's events.

RACE FEE TRANSFER: There will be NO TRANSFER OF FEES from one race to another.

TRANSFER TO ANOTHER ATHLETE: Race fee can be transferred to another individual. However, there is a $10 processing fee to complete the transfer.
