Brief Description

The 8th Annual Seroogy’s Valentine Run/Walk allows you to enjoy the season’s beauty of a “Winter Runnerland” through the well-maintained streets of De Pere. The run offers views of the many historical homes and businesses in De Pere, as well as travels through the beautiful St. Norbert Abbey. Participants are greeted at the finish line with a Seroogy's chocolate bar and heart shaped cheese.

Adults: $34; Kids: $15

Registration Discount

You can take $3 off your entry fee if you pick up and drop off your registration form at Seroogy's Chocolates located 144 N. Wisconsin St., De Pere or 784 Willard Dr., Green Bay. If you drop off 4 or more entries, take another $1 off per entrant. Forms must be dropped off in 1 envelope.

Registration and Packet Pick-up

Friday, February 11 from 12 - 6 p.m. at Seroogy's Chocolates, downtown De Pere (144 N. Wisconsin Ave). Day of (Saturday, February 12) registration and packet pick-up will also be available from 6:30 - 7:50 a.m. at Seroogy's.

Distances

5K - 3.1 miles; 15K - 9.3 miles

Course Information

15K - Starts on Broadway and goes through St. Norbert Abbey. This is a gradual uphill to Webster Ave. Course turns right heading towards Ridgeway Boulevard. The course turns west on Ridgeway Blvd. towards East River Dr., through Green Isle Park and back. The final 1/2 mile of the course is downhill heading back to Seroogy's Chocolates.

5K - Starts the same as the 15K. Course goes right at Ridgeway Blvd. Course is then a downhill headed back to Seroogy's Chocolates.

Course Cut-Off Time

The course will close 2 hours and 30 minutes after the start of the race.

Awards

Midwest Sports Events prides themselves with unique awards! Awards will be given to the first overall female and male winners in both distances. Age group awards will be given to the top 3 male and female in 5 year increments: 14 and under to 95+ and the top 3 Clydesdale and Athena. Part of the 5-STAR Series.

Midwest Sports Events Amenities

All participants will receive a LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, Seroogy's chocolate meltaway bar, coffee, hot chocolate, heart shaped cheese pack and snacks. Both courses will have every mile marked and will offer water/gatorade stations.

Warming House

Each year New Life Community Church, across from Seroogy's Chocolates offers, their church as a warming house before and after the event. We appricate their volunteerism and kindness.

Volunteer Group

Community Sponsorships from this event will go directly to Syble Hopp School, our 2011 volunteer group. The Syble Hopp School provides educational programming to meet the needs of children with disabilities.

Midwest Sports Events Refund Policy

There will be NO REFUNDS issued for ANY reason. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFER FROM 2011 TO 2012 EVENT (aka DEFERRALS) There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year's event to future year events.

RACE FEE TRANSFER There will be NO TRANSFER OF FEES from one race to another.
