Online registration closes at Midnight(Eastern Standard Time) on May 27,2010. Race day registration/Race Packet Pick-up is at 6:00am 29 May .

These are north Georgia Mountain trail runs/rides - strenuous but not too tough.....hey, it in the vicinity of an Army Ranger camp! Back in 2010 - MOISTURE-WICKING, TECHNICAL SHIRTS!!!!

Brief Description: The Mountain Ranger Run Association is featuring their 14th Annual 5/15K runs and 34K Mountain Bike Race to reach all those die-hard mountain bicyclists who want to explore the wonders of the Chattahoochee National Forest.

We also offer a 5K run/34K mountain bike / Duathlon combining the 5K and 34K courses mentioned above.

Fees: 5K/15KRun - $20 pre-registration (midnight 5/27/10), $25 after and day of race

34K Bike - $30 pre-registration , (midnight 5/27/10) $35 after and day of race

Duathlon - $35 pre-registration, (midnight 5/27/10), $40 after and on race day

Course: All run races start at the Wasegah 4H camp and winds through the Chattahoochee National Forest in a hilly loop along non-paved Forest Service roads and trails. The bike route also starts at Wasegah 4H camp and loops across Cooper Gap and Winding Stair service roads skirting along the Tennessee Valley Divide.

Awards: Will be given to the top male and female finisher of each age group of the 5K/15K/duathlon race. 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70 & over; Male/Female.

Awards in the 34K bike race to top 30 male and 20 female finishers.

Purpose: All proceeds from the Mountain Ranger Run Association are given to various local charities and organizations in the North Georgia Area to foster a better relationship between the community and those who are less fortunate.
