Brief Description

Run with the World! Run for the World! R4TW is a global initiative raising awareness and funds for international and local projects focusing on community development and sports ministry. This race will raise funds locally for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes here in Forsyth and Dawson Counties supporting sports ministry in our public schools and on our community ball fields. Internationally, funds will be raised for OM SportsLink projects serving in 25 countries.

R4TW 5k Itinerary

7:30am – Suggested Arrival time to check in for packet pickup and t-shirt 8:00am – Pre Race Program 8:15am – 5k Race Starts 9:15am - Post Race Program

Early Race Check-in

On this Friday afternoon (23rd) starting at 4pm to 8pm at the Totally Running Store, you can check in, pick up your packet and receive your t-shirt. We encourage all runners to opt for this early check-in option as this will help us all keep to the above time schedule.

Early Registration Discount

The race has a discounted early registration of $25 until September 17th. After the 17th the fee goes up to $30 through race day. All registrations received after September 17th are not guaranteed t-shirt sizing preference or availability on race day.

Race Day Parking

Parking is available on site and around the shopping center.

Award Categories

The race will have award categories for Overall, Masters, 14 and Under, 15-18, and 10 year age groups awards up to 70 and over.

Door Prizes

After the race, we encourage everyone to stay for the Post-Race program, regardless if you finish in the top of your age category, as each runner will automatically be entered into the drawing for the door-prizes which collectively value over $1,000. The Door-prizes have been provided by Scott’s Auto, Norman’s Landing, Marlow’s Tavern, Peach Mac, Boot Camp 360, Quiznos, Starbucks, Smoothie King and others.

Additional Information

Since 2007, R4TW has involved people on every continent running on streets, forest trails, in the high altitudes of the Himalayas and on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, all uniting for the same cause.
