Brief Description

The Run for Life 5K has raised nearly $30,000 in the past three years, but researchers need much more to find a cure! This event was founded to honor Jon Blais, the only person with ALS to finish an Ironman triathlon. We host the event each year in tribute to PALS, their families and caregivers, and the researchers who one day will discover a cure. By supporting this event you are helping the researchers at the Emory ALS Center as they work to find a cure.

FUNDRAISING

5K COURSE

Start/finish is in front of Jim 'N Nicks BBQ. Runners/walkers will make a clockwise loop around The Avenue Forsyth and exit left onto Ronald Reagan Blvd. Make a u-turn at Peachtree Pkwy., and another u-turn at Majors Rd. Proceed back to The Avenue Forsyth, entering at the back entrance for another clockwise loop to the finish line.

WELCOME Girls on the Run Forsyth

We are happy to partner with Girls on the Run Forsyth this year! Run for Life 5K will be the celebration race for these young girls currently enrolled in this great program. You won't want to miss all the smiling faces as they cross the finish line.
