Brief Description

Lily is a vivacious, happy eight-year-old with adoring parents and a two-year-old sister. On September, 10th Lily was diagnosed with Advanced Neuroblastoma Cancer and needs our help. Please join us for this special event to help raise money for Lily and her family and the long battle they face ahead. This is sure to be a great event for a great cause. We hope you will join us.

PARKING

We ask that all race participants, volunteers and supporters only park in the designated areas. The areas include the back portion of the Forsyth County YMCA, across the street at the ASA Soccer fields and Vickery Creek Middle School. Do NOT park in the VIckery Village or anywhere in the Vickery Neighborhood.

About Lily Anderson

Lily Anderson is just like any other 8 year old girl. She loves lime green, peace signs, her baby sister and a good dirt bike ride with her Dad. On September 10, Lily Anderson was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Cancer. Stage 4. Treatment will continue for a year and a half. This will be a tough financial burden for her parents, but their determination to find a cure is boundless. Friends & neighbors have organized Lily's Run for Hope, to help the Andersons with their journey. Please join us.

Additional Information

Race Day registration will be allowed. Checks should be made payable to "Lily's Cancer Fund". Please be at the registration table by 12:30 for sign in. Registration may also be completed at any Fleet Feet Sports store locations. Run is for all ages and abilities. Water stations and post race nutrition will be provided. POST RACE ACIVITIES from !:00- 4:00 PM will include things for the whole family. There will be the Chopper the Brave's Mascot, Live Music, food specials, prizes, face painting, jump houses, pumpkin patch, Swee N Sassy, kids games and a HUGE silent auction and raffle. All race participants will automatically be included in our raffle for great prizes. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the day of the event. Raffle/auction items include gift certificates to local businesses, beach and mountain house get aways, rounds of golf, early access to special running event and so much more. T-shirts can be purchased during on-line registration as well as on the day of the event. If you plan to purchase a t-shirt please indicate the size from the options when you register.
