Brief Description

This is a level fast course. You will be chip timed on this certified course. Use this for your Peachtree qualifier. Run this race to benefit Abba House, a recovery ministry for women with children.

Ga 400 to McFarland Road, West on McFarland, Right N.B. on Hwy 9 to left on Post Road. Vickery Village on left.

Race After-party will be in Vickery Village with live music, food, face painting, clowns and bounce houses. Bring your family and enjoy a fun day in the sun.

Course Description

Distinct point-to-point courses that run predominately on the Forsyth Big Creek Greenway. The 5k starts just in front of the new Fowler park. The first two plus miles of the 5k drop in elevation making this a fast course. 10k also has an overall elevation drop for the first 4 miles then continues thru the Polo Fields neighborhood on the way to Vickery Village. Both course finish on a uphill into the beautiful courtyard area of Vickery Village.

Parking, Registration & Shuttle at Vickery Village

All Runners need to meet at Vickery Village to Park, Register and then be shuttled to race start.

Race Day Registration Cutoff 7:10 AM

Race day registration opens at 6:30 AM for both races. 10k registration is open till 7:10 AM in order to access bus in time for ride to start line. 5k registration cut off at 8:40. Last Bus to start line leaves at 7:15 for the 10k and 8:45 for the 5k. Some runners will be able to run both races, but must sign up for both and change out their bibs in order to be timed.

Chip Timing

The 5k and 10k will have chip timing with the MyLaps bib tag system.

Post Race Awards in Vickery Village Courtyard

Awards will be presented for Overall Male/ Female, Masters Male/Female, 1st-3rd place age groups in 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 up. Other Awards include Team Spirit Award, Most Amazing Mother Award, Fastest Team and Fastest Pastor/CEO. Prizes include 4-some Round of Golf, Facials and Massages, Gift Baskets and hundreds of dollars in Restaurant Gift Certificates.

Packet Pick-up at Chill Hill

Packet pick-up will be at Chill Hill in Vickery Village on May 11 from 6pm to 8pm. Address is 5860 S Vickery Cumming, GA 30040
