Brief Description

The 2nd annual SpeRUNking Sand Mine Challenge is a 4 mile underground race & obstacle course, featureing wet & dry sand surfaces & 12 obstacles; including a vertical wall, balance beams & cargo nets. Runners enjoy a constant 56 degree temperature as they navigate through this one-of-a-kind environment. Interested athletes can register online at www.sandminechallenge.com. Proceeds from the race go to support PayBack, Inc., a St. Louis based non-profit supporting restorative justice for juveniles

Directions

FROM ST. LOUIS: 1.Take I-55 South to Exit 175 (Hwy A). 2.Turn left at Hwy A. 3.Turn left at Hwy 61/67. 4.Turn right at Bailey Rd (2nd light). 5.Turn right at Mississippi Rd (top of hill). 6.Follow fence line on your left until you come to a double gate w/ a red fire hydrant.
