Where: The race will take place in Cripple Creek, Colorado; starting across from the Mollie Kathleen Mine at the Cripple Creek Heritage Center and ending at the Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine. * Start line and parking: Cripple Creek Heritage Center 9283 South Hwy 67, Cripple Creek Co. 80813 * Finish line: South on Hwy.67 to Mining Exhibt, parking lot, West side of road. (Little Grouse Mtn. Trail head parking lot) Hightway 67 WILL BE CLOSED FOR RACE 9:00am. - 12:30

Entry Fee: $35 + Active.com fees. Race day sign-up cost is $45. Kids Race is FREE.

9k road race, is point-to-point course , down hill and up hill. (A bag-drop service will be available for all runners. Drop bags will be delivered to Fnish line) Transportation will be provided from Finish Line to Beer Garden and Start Line.
Conditions: This road race takes place at an altitude of 9,494 feet.
History meets Modern Day in this unique road race from a historic Old West Mine to a present day working mine. The City of Cripple Creek will host its First Annual Mine to Mine 9k Challenge race October 13, 2012 at 10 A.M.
Exciting run down Highway 67 from the Mollie Kathleen Mine to the Cripple Creek and Victor Mine. Beautiful 9k. coures. that will take you down hill and up hill. Runners of all levels are encouraged to participate! And thats not all, a Beer Garden, Live Band and delicious treats will be available to runners after the race at the Brass Ass parking lot! 256 E. Bennett Ave Cripple Creek, Colorado.
Race packets will be available for pick-up Friday October 12, 2012 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Jack Quinns Irish Pub downtown Colorado Springs.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SINCE HIGHWAY 67 WILL BE CLOSED FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M. FOR THE RACE, VISITORS AND SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY UNTIL THE RACE IS OVER.
