Brief Description

A scenic loop (3.1miles) on a paved road thru Devou Park. The starting/finish line is at the Charles Volpenhein Pavilion on Park Ln. (right by the Dress Pavilion). This is a 5K run/walk.

Route for Castle Chase

Start on Park Ln. (by Charles Volpenhein Pavilion), take left onto Rotary Ln., right onto Haven Giliesple Blvd., right onto Montgaue Rd. stay on Montgaue Rd. take right onto Home Dr. follow Home Dr. around loop and take a left back onto Montague Rd. take a slight left onto Bandshell Blvd., left onto Park Ln. and finish race and finish line.

PRE -REGISTRATION: Mail-in entries must be post marked by Aug. 31, 2010. On-line registration open until Sept. 1st. 5K Run Categories: Male and Female:15/under,16-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-69,70/over. 5K Walkers: Male and Female: 29/under,30-39,40-49,50-59,60/over. Walkers must walk the entire distance. Any participant who anticipates running part of the event must register as a runner.
