Brief Description

Come and support the Newton County Relay for Life's Run for Hope 5K Run/Walk to be held at Cousins Middle School, 8187 Carlton Trail NW, Covington, GA 30014. The proceeds from the race will benefit the American Cancer Society's continued fight against cancer.

Series affiliation

The race is part of the 2012 Black Bag Racing Series and the 2012 Run and See Georgia Grand Prix Series.

Shirts and Goodies

100% cotton t-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners and will be given to race day registrations while supplies last. There will be plenty of water and snacks after the race.

Directions from Atlanta

(From Atlanta) Travel east on I-20 to exit 90 Covington/Oxford State Route 278 east). Turn east on Highway 278 to the third stop light and turn left onto Highway 81. Immediately after you cross the bridge over I-20, turn left onto Geiger Street, then turn right onto Carlton Trail. The school is 100 yds on the left side of Carlton Trail.

Additional Information

Awards will be presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over. Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.coolrunning.com, and www.runningintheusa.com. Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 1:00PM.
