Dan and Jackie Evans are best known as the popular mother-son team featured contestants on season five of NBC's hit reality show, The Biggest Loser. They lost a combined 225 pounds, and have honored their commitment to keep the weight off by living a healthy lifestyle.

Jackie was the overweight mom who didn't know what she was doing wrong. She raised three boys, had a fulfilling marriage and managed a successful business. However, there was one thing that Jackie continuously struggled with: her weight. Her busy life took over and, instead of cooking healthy meals, she frequented the drive-through at fast-food restaurants.

Having the guilt of her son's weight on her shoulders, she encouraged Dan to try out for The Biggest Loser. Little did Jackie know that she would eventually join her son to overcome life's challenges and lose almost 90 pounds.

After the show, Dan pursued his passion for music and released his debut album, Goin' All Out, in the fall of 2008. It debuted at number seven on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Dan continues to write his own music and perform, something he never thought was possible with his former 310-pound frame.

Dan and Jackie registered for their first race in 2010 to maintain their weight loss, and immediately became hooked on the experience. Today, they are determined to educate and inspire families from all over to live a healthy and happy lifestyle through fitness. The pair became the National Spokespeople of the Kids Fit Foundation, where they dedicated themselves to run 500 miles in support of the cause. Jackie completed more than 11 half marathons and Dan completed 14 in 2011.
