Chip Timing:
Both the half marathon and 5K will be chip timed by Race Day Events, LLC.
Half Marathon:
Starts at 8:00 am
$35 until January 31
$45 Feburary 1st - April 17
The Half Marathon is an out and back route that will be on the Glacial Drumlin Trail between Cottage Grove and Deerfield. The trail is very flat and consists of smoothly compacted gravel. There will be two aid stations stocked with water and Gatorade and a porta-potty. Runners will hit the aid stations a total of 4 times. There will also be a bag drop. All Half marathon participants will receive a finisher medal.
5K:
Starts at 8:30 am
$25 until January 31st
$35 Feburary 1st- April 17th
The 5K is an out and back route that will be on the Glacial Drumlin Trail in Cottage Grove, same as the half marathon with an earlier turnaround. The trail is very flat and consists of compacted gravel that is very smooth. There will be one aid station stocked with water and Gatorade. Runners will hit this aid station twice on the route. Bag Drop will be available at the start of the race.
1 Mile Walk: $15
Sidewalks North of the trail-head parking lot.
Kids Run: Free
Sidewalk around parking lot. Approx 1/4 mile.
T-shirts:
a techincal t-shirt is included with your registration fee for the 5k and 1/2 marathon. A cotton t-shirt is included with your registration for the walk. No t-shirt will be included for the kids run, however kids will receive a finisher medal.
Awards:
All Half Marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal.
Awards will consist of Top 3, 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70+
(top 3 will be excluded from age group awards).
American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA):
All donations and proceeds will go to fund programs for the Wisconsin Chapter of the APDA.
