Brief Description

The remote and sun drenched coast and volcanic regions, skirting inland lakes (Lake Arenal), windswept highlands, jungle and tropical dry forest. The course is set in Costa Rica's northwestern corner. We will be making some minor changes to the route to keep us along the Carribean side of Miravalles Volcano for 2012. This means 1-2 more days in cloud forest and rainforest and less time in the dry areas to the north.
