Brief Description

The course is set along Costa Rica's tropical Pacific coastline but weaves at times into the Talamancas, a coastal mountain range in the Southwest corner of the country. You’ll finish near the border of Panama. Terrain: jungle and rainforest trails, mountain trail and single track across ridgelines, highlands and coastal ranges; beaches, rocky outcroppings and reefs, river and estuary crossings, and ends in Corcovado National Park, one of the premier rainforest experiences in the world.

$ 1375.00 per person. Your teammate will do 3 stages and you will do 3 stages after you determine the best way to divide them as part of your race strategy.

NEW Coastal Range Hill Race (3 stages)

For individuals: $ 995.00. Run your race and then kick back and enjoy Costa Rica.

DON'T WANT TO BRING YOUR OWN TENT?

If part of a registered team you now have the option to use our new 6-8 person tents which we will set up for you every day. There is a charge of $100 per person for this service. You must request the Tent Option at registration by December 1st. Each group of 3 or 4 will share a 6-8 person tent so there will be ample room for you and your gear.

New Refund Policy

Registration deposits are refundable until September 1st 2010.
Cancel before September 1st for a full refund. Cancel between September 1st and November 1st and 100% of any collected fees will be applied to the next scheduled event. These fees will “roll-over” for one year.

Refund Policy continued/Rollover Option

Cancel between November 1st and December 1st and we will “roll over” 50% of any collected fees to the next scheduled event. There are no refunds or rollover option for cancellations after December 1st, 2010.
We cannot make exceptions so we highly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to cancel.

Again, we strongly advise all participants to take out travel insurance to cover any possible cancellations. (see above)

Additional Information

The race lasts six days. Each day competitors will run/walk anywhere from 24 kilometers (15 miles) to 45 kilometers (28miles) in the Expedition category. People in the Adventure Category will run half that distance on days over 35k (21.5 miles) and 2/3 on the shorter days. (approximately 110-120 miles.) After each race there will be time to refuel, reflect and connect with the land and people from coastal villages. Competitors will camp in towns and on or near beaches, listening to the surf while sleeping under the stars. A remarkable value - What is included
