Brief Description

YES!! Your miles will count! Walk (or run) as much as you want!! Walk for Kids '10 offers unlimited miles for registered participants that may be sent back to school for credit! Collect pledges for the Walk and join us for a day of family, friends, food, community spirit, and FUN!! Schools will receive a percentage of their total Walk for Kids '10 pledges to assist with 2010-11 registration and participation costs. We are doing this for you, your schools, and especially your KIDS!

Prizes

Raise $20 in Pledges- Receive our Commemorative 2010 Walk for Kids T-Shirt. These are printed once each cycle, in limited numbers. Raise $40- Receive all of the above, PLUS the NEW 100 Mile Club® Embroidered Visor Beanie! Pictures soon! Raise $60 or more- Receive all of the above, PLUS an exclusive 100 Mile Club™ hooded sweatshirt.*

GRAND PRIZES!

The student raising the most in pledges will will a Wii Bundle, courtesy of Best Buy Mira Loma! All students raising pledges will be entered in a chance drawing for an iPod Touch, courtesy of Best Buy, Corona.

Our Walk for Kids Chance/Silent Auction is FAMOUS! Hundreds of amazing prizes are donated by local businesses each year. Come see what we have in store for you this year!

Additional Information

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES 100% of the proceeds from Walk for Kids 2010 will directly sponsor students in new and currently participating schools. Your donations and pledges will help with direct project implementation through our ABBIE Memorial Student Sponsorship Fund. It is our goal to bring The 100 Mile Club® to as many students as possible...Walk for Kids 2010 WILL make the difference for many of our schools and students. Walk for Kids is our one and only fundraising event each year. We thank you in advance for your active participation in Walk for Kids 2010.
