Event Description

Join us for our 6th Annual Zebra PHriends 5K and PHun Walk! The 5K run will start at 9am and participants will receive an event technical tshirt. The 1M walk will start at 11am and a T-shirt will be provided to the first 150 registered 1M participants. Following the walk and run, there will be a luncheon and raffle. 1 Mile PHun Walk Participant Registration

Online registration is now over. If you would like to join us for the walk, you can register at the park on Saturday morning starting at 8:00am.

Schedule of Events

8:00 am - Registration and packet pickup opens. 9:00 am - 5K start. 11:00 am - 1M walk begins. Lunch and raffles to follow the walk.

Registration levels and fees:

Walker (adult)-$10. Runners $25 up until Sept.30. Then $30 from Oct.1-Nov 2. Race Day registration $35. 5K Online Registration closes as of 9:00am Nov 2nd.

Awards

For the 5K - The top three overall females, and males will receive awards. The top three females and males in each age division will also receive awards. 5K will be chip timed. 19 and under. 20-29. 30-39. 40 and Up.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup location will be on Friday, November 2nd at Biggby Coffee in Coppell from 11am-6pm. (230 North Denton Tap Road #104, Coppell, TX) Race day packet pickup available starting at 8:00am

Picnic Lunch

A lunch will be held after the walk (around noon). Walkers and runners are invited to stay for the lunch. There is an option on the registration page to purchase your boxed lunch.

What is Pulmonary Hypertension?

Pulmonary Hypertension is an incurable disease that affects the lungs and eventually the heart. It causes the arteries in the lungs to constrict becoming too narrow for normal blood flow from the heart to the lungs, creating high blood pressure in the arteries and stress on the heart. General treatment is oral medications and if that doesn't work, it's followed up with continuous IV medications all geared toward sustaining a patient's life until a lung and/or heart transplant can be performed.

Runner Technical Shirts are running low!

We are close to selling out of the runners technical shirts, so we have made the Cotton shirts an option on the registration page. The options you see are the only sizes currently available.
