Courses

The 2-Mile course is a USATF Certified Course, AR07001DLP. The race is an Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix Series Race. Both the 2-Mile and 1-Mile Leashed Dog race courses are flat and fast, with excellent traffic control and aid stations. An experienced team of organizers will make the events exciting and fun. Runner Amenities

Each participant will receive a T-Shirt and an awesome goodie bag. T-shirts are guaranteed only to pre-registered participants. All participants will be eligible for valuable door prizes.

Refreshments

Soft and sport drinks, snacks, hot dogs and other refreshments will be available for all participants on race day.

Directions

Take I-40 to Exit 127, east on HWY 64 (Oak St.) Approx. 1/2 mile to Elsinger Blvd. right (south) on Elsinger Blvd. for approx. 1/4 mile to PetSmart on the left.

Paws Race & Mile Awards to 1-Mile Paws Leashed Dog

Top 15 male and female finishers.

Paws best costume

Top 5 as determined by local judges (FREE - No Entry Fee).

2-Mile Open Race Awards

1st three overall M & F, 1st three overall Masters M & F, 1st overall Grand Masters M & F, 1st overall Senior Masters M & F, Age Groups - 1st Five Finishers in most age groups. This is an Arkansas Grand Prix race and will follow the rules of the Grand Prix. Finishers will be classified by their age as of 12/31/2010.

NEW for 2010: Chip Timing

We are excited to announce CHIP TIMING for the 2010 Chase Race! For those that are not familiar with racing events, chips are attached to each participants shoe and the start and finish times are recorded digitally. The process of using chips will require some effort on your part also so please read the instructions included in your packet prior to the race start.
