WE WELCOME YOU TO REGISTER AT THE EVENT!** November is a time of Thanksgiving – So please join us on November 6th as Run for Congo Women expresses their “Thanks” to all participants for “Giving” and sharing your time and compassion with our Congolese sisters. The event will be held rain or shine Early packet pick-up: Friday, 11/5 at Fleet Feet, Hickory, NC from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Additional Information

Activities/Celebration: Congolese activist Kambale Musavuli will speak briefly and begin the race. Music and a chili, cornbread, and pumpkin pie celebration will be held afterwards. A sponsorship/information table will be available for new sponsorships and donations. Donated items will be raffled off to raise donations. Special awards will be given to first place male and female overall winners in both races. First 150 registered runners will receive a piece of pottery made locally by Connections Clubhouse, a residence home that promotes and provides opportunities for adults with mental illness in the Catawba Valley.

Funds raised here benefit the entirety of our DR Congo program and cannot be applied to a sponsorship of a woman in our program.
