The NC Half Marathon™ at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the most fun running experience in North Carolina. This event is about experiencing the best in racing in the most unique and exclusive of all venues...the Charlotte Motor Speedway! Where racing lives!

A Course Like No Other

Begin at the Charlotte Motor Speedway start line with the white flag waving in the air, run through the Speedway, toward the Dirt Track and on the Drag Strip too! That is right, this is where you log your fastest mile, but don't stop there! Finish on pit row, share your racing stories in the garage and bask in your glory in Victory Lane! And the mile markers? How about a stock car from the Richard Petty Driving Experience at each mile to let you know how much closer you are to the finish line!

The Fastest Medal Ever

All of our half marathon finishers will receive a huge medal with moving parts! Introducing the first ever starting tree with full-on LED lights - definitely fit for the race of a lifetime!

Packet Pick-Up Policy

There will be NO packet pick-up on race day. Please make the appropriate accommodations to ensure you will be able to make it to packet pick-up on Saturday, March 23, 2012 between 10:00 AM and 7:30 PM.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not give or sell your number to anyone else. You also may not transfer your application to the following year.

Forever Young Foundation

The Forever Young Foundation was established in memory of Jake Young. His life was cut short but he still taught us all that life is what you make of it by always wanting more and working hard to achieve his goals. The Forever Young Foundation wants to identify other young people, who like Jake Young, have that fire in their hearts and that impeccable work ethic but lack financial support to further their education.
