Additional Information
The 10K and 5K events are timed. Race-day registration and packet pick up starting at 6:30 am.
There are three different races/times:
10K Memorial Run-8 a.m.
Take your place in the appropriate pace group according to the pace signs at the race start area and get ready for a great 10K course around Rock Mountain Wildlife Refuge.
5K Ruck March- 8:10 a.m.
If you're up for a real challenge, grab your packs and join in on the 5K Ruck March! While our military friends are really familiar with this style of race, for those of us without the knees for the 10K, the Ruck March is a brisk walk with a small pack or camel back.
1 Mile Kids (12&U) fun run -8:55 a.m.
Get the kiddos involved with this great cause through a pint-sized, non-competitive race built specially for them! Awards Ceremony-approximately 9:45 a.m. if all goes as planned.
Immediately following the Memorial run, Kids Mile and Ruck March will be a recognition ceremony with a very special guest as a keynote speaker.
If you register for one of the Remote Run/Walk/Marches, just make sure you post your results by name, city, state, country, and run time to the facebook event page and we will compile the names and scores and post them all on our website. The Facebook Event page is:

For your information on the Remembering the Brave - Run for Remembrance and the 9/11 Freedom Rally. We are conducting this race near the 9/11 Freedom Rally. It should prove to be a great time on September 11th after our morning race and concert by the Johnny Bulford Band and we encourage everyone to cool off after the run and enjoy the rally and all the activities they have planned for the day. See you there!
