Brief Description

The Mud Blast (formerly Mudder Nature Challenge) is a trail and obstacle course event, designed for runners to have fun in the mud and enjoy the beauty of the Sacramento River. It's a 5k course for runners. This event is a fundraiser for River Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and conservation of California’s rivers and floodplains. Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting

8:45 am. All registrants must attend.

Registration

Walk-up registrations will be accepted at packet pick-up and on race day, early. There are no refunds and no transfers. All registrants must sign a waiver form to be eligible to participate.

Team Captains

Please click the yellow "Create your Team" button and create your team. Once your team has been created please return to this page and click on the green "Register Now" button and register for your team.

Team Members

Please click on the green "Register Now" button to register. On the registration form, select your Team name from the drop down list of teams and continue with your registration. If you do NOT see your teams name in the drop down list please contact your team captain.

Individuals

Please click on the green "Register Now" button to register. DO NOT select a team name from the drop down list within the registration form.

KIds Mud Blast

A kid-friendly Mini-Mud Blast obstacle course will be available for children 5-12 years old. Entry fee includes a technical shirt and lunch for both the athlete and parent/guardian. All Mini-Mud Blast kids must have a parent or guardian on site.

Additional Information

Runners race individually or in teams of 3 or more. The largest three teams to register by August 31 will start in the first three waves! Waves of 50 participants will start every 5-10 minutes beginning at 9:00 am sharp. Costumes are welcome. Goodies and Prizes: Big BBQ lunch comes with registration. All racers, including Mini-Mud Blast, will receive a technical t-shirt if they register by August 24th. Registrations after August 24th will receive race tee shirts on first come, first serve basis. Prizes will be awarded to each division champion and for best costume.

Mob Events

Have you raced through fire, crawled under barbed wire, and sloshed through mud pits with your friends? What are you waiting for? It's probably the most fun you'll ever have at a race. Throw on a costume, grab a beer, and get downright dirty when you join the Mob.
