Brief Description

What a great way to begin your holiday weekend. The Columbus Turkey Trot played host to over 7000 runners and walkers in 2011 along with over 700 kids. The event features your choice of a 5 miler or 2 mile run (or walk). Our tradition continues of awarding the top 1000 male and 1000 female finishers a fresh Kroger pumpkin pie! Remember, all kids race free and receive a cool looking t-shirt and finisher award.

About the race

This is the "Original" Columbus Turkey Trot offering both a 5 and 2 mile format. Voted "Best Hometown Favorite" by Runners World Magazine this event awards the first 1000 men and 1000 lady finishers with a ready to eat Kroger pumpkin pie. That's 2000 pies! Walker friendly! Kids race free!

Easter Seals (Fight Autism)

A portion of this years proceeds will be contributed to Easter Seals and their fight to end Autism. Every 20 minutes, another child is diagnosed with autism. Millions now struggle to find help -- countless more will follow.Autism is treatable, but we need to act. Join forces with Easter Seals -- the leading provider of autism services. Together, we can make life better for millions of people touched by autism.

New course

This year's 5 mile race will feature a revised course through the OSU campus. Additionally, the 2 mile "Walk N' Talk" will have it's own start beginning at 9:15am and includes a separate course. See map at www.columbusturkeytrot.com

Family Discounts$$

Family's entering 4 or more people receive a $5 discount per entry. To qualify, simple PRINT the on-line entry form from the web site and make copies for each family member. Complete each entry form including race waiver and mail together in the same envelope. Questions: 614-332-5205. (HONOR SYSTEM)

Kid's Race (t-shirt deadline is 11/17)

The McDonald's "Tot Trot" is FREE to all kids of registered parents and guardians. It include a free t-shirt and finish medal. Those entering after 11/17 can still have their children run in the event but will not be guaranteed a shirt (sorry).

Goody bag pick-up and walk-in registration

Beat the crowd and pick-up your race packet early. Front Runner (1348 W. Lane Ave) beginning November 14th. Walk-in registration is welcome.

Goody bag

All participants will receive a high quality and multi-colored long sleeve technical shirt, race number, and more. Medals with ribbon to all finishers.

Additional Information

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A BEAUTIFUL FINISHER MEDAL WITH RIBBON AND LONG SLEEVE TECHNICAL RACING SHIRT.
