5K Course

An out-and-back course on paved roads. The "out" portion is mostly uphill and the "back" portion is mostly downhill. This is challenging, but it's also fun. There is one water stop at the turn around point.

10K Course

A combination out-and-back and loop course. About 4 miles is on paved roads and the rest is on dirt trails and roads. The first mile is mostly uphill. The next couple of miles are gently rolling terrain and some really nice panoramic views of Colorado Springs. Then the grind starts again as runners make their way mostly up an out-and-back stretch. The turnaround point of this section again offers some great views, and from here to the finish (about 1.5 miles), it's mostly downhill.

Kids Fun Run

3 categories for the young at heart: Diaper Derby -- about 50 yards. Toddler Trot -- about 200 yards. School-Age Sprint -- 1 mile. All kids will receive a ribbon. This is FREE for the kids. Adults are allowed to run with their child.
