Running Zone and Space Coast Runners welcome you to the 40th running of the Space Coast Marathon and Half-Marathon - the oldest marathon in Florida. We invite runners and walkers alike to experience one of the most beautiful waterfront courses on the east coast.
As part of the celebration of the Space Coast, here are some of the amenities planned this year:
o The Health First Health Plans Health & Fitness Expo and Pre-race Pasta Dinner at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
o All finishers receive a commemorative "Shuttle" Medal and an electronic "Space" Certificate to recognize and celebrate your accomplishment
o Start of Race Countdown with a shuttle launch on a Jumbotron
o Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex admission discounts to all participants
o "Space" Props along course and at finish line area
o "Space" Themed Water/Aid Stations all along course
o Volunteers in NASA-like uniforms and hats
o "Space" Photo opportunity with astronauts walking around the pre-race dinner and race site
o Opportunity to win a dinner for up to four people to "Dine with an Astronaut"
