Brief Description

In the United States, more than 80,000 women are diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer each year - and they need your help!

Athena's Run is a 5k run and Survivor's Ceremony and Celebration Walk to raise awareness and support for gynecologic cancers. The event is about celebrating those who have survived, honoring the lives of those who have passed, and encouraging those who are still battling their cancers.

Registration Details

5K - $25 until September 16th, then $30 through race day; Survivor's Ceremony and Celebration Walk - $15 through race day

T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 500 entries.

Registration Close Date

Online Registration will close October 2, 2012, at 11:59 pm. However, on-site registration will be available the morning of the race and at pre-registration packet pick-up.

Packet Pick-Up

Early packet pick-up will be held on October 4 at Fleet Feet Sports in Winston Salem, from 4-7 pm. On site registration and packet pick-up is also available at the Amphitheater in Tanglewood Park beginning at 7:00 am on race day.

Awards and Prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall top 3 males and females ($200, $100, $50). Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age category: 9 years and under; 10-19 years; 20-29 years; 30-39 years; 40-49 years; 50-59 years; and 60+ years.
